Animals and plants need to survive if they want to live. Carnivores need to hunt for their own food, while herbivores can eat plants. plants make their own by using the sun to make photosynthesis.plants get their water from rain and animals get their water their water from lakes and ponds. If animals didn't have food and water that they need then they wouldn't be able to survive. The animals in the biome would be dying.

This is all we know about the grassland biome. These are the animals and plants that we know about that live in the grassland. Their survival is important because if they don't then there won't be any animals in the biome. Some grasslands temperatures are different than others. Some are hotter because they are closer to the equator. Some are cooler they aren't too close to the equator. This biome isn't like others.
